Study of the geological structure and geodynamic regime of Greece. Digital cartography. Compilation of geological maps at different scales as an item of basic information in the framework of studies of areas with economic, geological, hydrogeological and technical interest. Geological maps at 1: 50.000 scale covering the entire greek territory. Geological maps at 1: 25.000 scale in selected areas of specific interest. Large scale geological maps (1: 5.000,1: 10.000) to meet the requirements for applied research of local character. Geological map of Greece at 1: 500.000 scale. Seismotectonic map 1 : 500.000. Geological engineering map 1 : 500.000. Neotectonic maps at 1: 100.000 scale.

• Neotectonic and seismotectonic studies in selected areas of the country with intense seismic activity.
• Photogeological mapping, application of remote sensing methods in geological - structural mapping, as well as in mineral exploration, hydrogeological and geotechnical surveys.
• Study of neogene - quaternary deposits.
• Geomorphological analysis and research with traditional and digital methods.
• Micropalaeontological - palynological and sedimentological studies of loose and cohesive sedimentary rocks.
• Research and activities for the preservation of the rich and various greek geological - geomorphological heritage and geotopes list compilation in local, regional, national, european and international level.
